High beam issue
Picked up a new to me 07 Electra Glide Ultra Classic a few weeks ago. First time Harley crossing over from a liter bike crotch rocket. Huge difference!
The guy I bought the bike from said that he had a high beam issue where if he leaves the high beam on for more than 20 minutes it blows the fuse. I pulled the fron fairing to take a look at a intermediate on/off issue and noticed the headlamp plug had one pin that was getting pretty hot....melty melty....I am guessing loose or corroded connection is causing an over amp issue and over temping the pin. Is this a common thing? Anything else I should look at?
On another note, started getting some pretty good rear steer at 80+ mph during lazy turns. Been slightly increasing throttle to get out of it until I watched a video last night. Got a Progressive stabilizer on the way now. From what I hear they are pretty good.
