Default RE: FLHRC Chrome Hand Controls Question

My advise would be to take off your stock controls, send them to a chrome exchange service such as "chrome that hog" and pay about $250 for the entire set of chrome parts. Reinstall them and be happy!! There are plenty of chrome exchange shops around the country that offer this. The chrome is often better than that of the MoCo............

I have 129 buck chrome controls from www.cyclesupplywv.com They are Midwest brand. Several others sell them for about the same price. I have had them for 7 years and have had no problems. I have installed several sets for friends and had no problems, either.

Great price, unfortunately they only go to 2006..... I would need 2007 which are hard to find in the after market.

Sorry I'm of no help. I bent over and took it for the full set of HD controls, levers, switch housings, and switch caps from Zanottis.
They look sweet.

There is no difference between 2006 controls and 2007 controls with the exception that the clutch lever has a little tang on it to depress the clutch posiiton sensor. If you use a clutch lever for a 2007 model, you'll end up with exactly the same setup.

You may also have to drill a small hole in the switch housing for the clutch switch, but HD doesn't differentiate the 2006 housing from the 2007 housings either so I'd expect that you'd probably have to do that even using HD parts unless they have re-engineered them under the same part number for 2007.

I had the same Problem and had to eventually go with the Dealers Controls, The Controls are Re-Engineered for 07 and below but there definitely is a difference and they are Not upward Compatible
