Default Chrome Control Exchange

Poking around on eBay last night I found a few ads for complete chrome control exchanges, levers and all for about $250. Anybody ever tried this or have another place you went to? I wanna chrome the controls but who wants to pay HD prices!?!?

I'd like to do the same. Did the $250 include the master cylinder and cover?

Unless your wanting to use original HD parts you can do it cheaper than that with aftermarket parts. Found chrome housings on eBay for about $60, chrome switches from HD for $26, M/C lid from Drag for $30, and Kuryakyn trigger levers for $75. Only thing I didn't change was the Master Cylinder itself, left it black. $191 total.

Yeah these are supposed to be %100 HD controls minus the switches. It's all an exchange like rims and forks.

SBates, I think that for the extra $30 chromer2466 is charging for OEM parts it is worth it as that also includes the master cylinder, but not the switches. Oh, also would have to pickup the chrome hardware

Yeah considering that your getting the chrome m/c and clutch perch too then that's not a bad way to go at all.
