during the trip back from myrtle beach today,,i had a strange noise coming from the engine i think...its an 07 SG,,,,it was awfully hot...prolly 102 degrees outstide..anyway..about 3k rpms..if you twist the throttle quickly..theres a loud clunky chirping noise....almost sounds likea timing chain slap ive heard in autos before..any1 here had this happen, or know of it....thanks in advance
you know I had this wierd chirpping noise on my big dog turned out that the drive belt was dirty and just needed to be washed off. Hope that's it cause it's an easy fix.

Up here in NH, we consider it crazy to ride in 100 degree heat. You cannot possibly be doing the motor any good.
Then again, we are not accutsomed to heat like you are.
