Default Another Handlebar Question

I posted this question on the KST website. I'm looking at the KST Pathfinder. I request the experience from fellows riders as to height recommendations.

2020 RGL w/ stock bars - I'm 6' 4" with a 34" inseam. I've changed the stock seat to the HD tallboy. My biggest complaint with the stock bars is elbow discomfort in my R/H elbow. My previous Harley's being batwings has me never experiencing this elbow discomfort which never required a handlebar swap. This is my first RG and now this new elbow pain. The RGL stock bars keep my hands below my shoulders at the full forward clamping position. Back or shoulder discomfort has never been an issue. I have to do something because long rides are becoming uncomfortable. The ability to adjust the wrist angle on the KST bar a definite plus, but the bar height is my question 10", 12", or 14" height. I ride in all weather and temperatures so keeping some degree of hand protection by the fairing is still desired. A long story short, what bar height does KST recommend for me and still keep my bike a touring bike?

Thank you.

With an rg the fairing won't provide much wind protection if ur going taller with your bars. I'm 6ft and have 14" bars on an SG and I've never had any discomfort. Bars are the first thing I change on any bike I get. It's always gonna be hard for us to give you opinions because we aren't you, we are all gilt different and require diff things for comfort

I can’t imagine that anything taller than 10” will keep you protected by the fairing. I had 12” KST straightjackets and my hands were exposed on my RG.
I’ve since switched to 14”.

You could also get those hand shields that attach to the bars and block the hands

I like you, came from a batwing (2012 UC) to my 2020 RGL last summer. I'm not sure I've experienced worse stock bars what the RG had. Elbows tucked into my sides, wrist angle way off, it felt like trying to ride/steer a wheelbarrow.
Switched them out quickly to 12" KST Pioneers (similar to the Pathfinder only with a traditional bend). I'm close to you at 6'3", longish arms, 34" inseam. Absolutely love the bars and the adjustability of the pullback/wrist angle.
Sure, I could have most likely gone with 14" but seeing as I try to stretch my riding season as long as possible with cold spring & fall riding the fairing does give me a bit of protection. Your windshield choice will directly affect this as well.
I'm on a HD Hammock seat (adjustable backrest) that does sit me back a bit from stock and I'm in a happy place with my bar/seat combination. The one thing I will say is going taller will allow you to "roll" them back closer to you if needed.
