Default Can I do A/C before pipes?

I have an '07 FLHRC that I am lovin' but like the others it can run really hot. The other day it was 275F after sitting in traffic ( I am using synthetic) . Anyway, what's the best way to cool this thing down? I imagined that I was going to do the exhaust and then a stage1 a/c & sert or other fuel management. I don't see how changing the exhaust will cool things down, but if I run richer I think maybe that might help. Can I do the a/c and sert first and then do the exhaust later? I think a SERT is a couple of hundred $(?). If I change the pipes later, do I need HD to do another download? If that's true, maybe the best thing is to get a PCIII - I can't afford to do this all at once - Your advice would be appreciated!

THNX

YEP... You can do just a fuel management system change without doing the Air System also...

There are some really nice tuners out there! DTT & ThunderMax & PCIII & SERT. They all have there pro's and con's! They are going to cost you $'s but will address the heat issue. From there you can later add a air cleaner or mufflers! My $ .02 worth is to invest in a tuner first and then when more money is allocated to the bike buy the pipes or air cleaner!

BlueRoad

Putting on the PCIII seemed to help quite a bit for me. I'm running stock exhaust and air filter. We did a couple hundred miles @ 106 degrees and I wasn't nearly as fried as I would have been before.
