I haven’t replaced my bars yet, but I heard that if the plugs are disconnected without first disconnecting the battery, and then reconnected, then they will throw a code. Also heard there’s a quick easy way to get rid of the CEL, unfortunately not sure what that fix is but someone will probably share that info shortly.

You may be correct with guessing audio for those plugs, but maybe for the auxiliary spots on either side of the ignition/fork lock?

I did find one of the plugs, cruise is fixed. Still an engine light on though.

I’ll try unplugging the battery and see what it does

What codes come up ? Check all your pins in the connector (s) , and see if one of them may have pushed back . Another thing is the little connector ( right side ) , can be a pita , most just get cut off and spliced / soldered , that was my experience , should have soldered the first time , would have saved me some time .

the two wire black and white plug is for heated grips, the small plug with the red, white, and black wires looks like the TBW wire? have you started and ridden the bike? does it have throttle grip input?

Ok I’ve got the plugs figured, cruise light off.

check engine light is still on after I unplugged the battery.

everything is working normally.

is there a way to reset that light?
