Battery problems
Battery problems
I have a friend that has ran into some battery charging problems. He has replaced the battery with a battery from Harley, he has replaced the stator, and just replaced the voltage rectifier which also tested with voltage meter and is putting out voltage. However the battery just does not seem to charge.. I have chased wiring frontwards and backwards and see no problems.. is there anywhere else or any other part I should look at replacing?

In case you aren't sure where the electrical subforum is. See the Stickys at the top. There are 2 for the charging system.

I would clean and tighten the electrical grounds in front of the battery. I found this to be the problem with charging system on my bike.
