On my 2011 Ultra i just replaced stock comp with Man-O-War comp and Hayden tensioner. The stock comp was pretty beat up for only 13000 miles. Chain was very tight also. Too tight. I have used several Haydens in the past with good results so the Ultra got one. Noticeably smoother with both installed.
What is your opinion of the MOW comp. ? I wonder how you would know when the rubber bushings need to be replaced in that comp. ? I don't know if anyone has wore one out yet.
I do think my Baker adjuster looked a little bent right out of the box. I contacted them and they were no help. Even sent them pic's.
Man I love the design of the Hayden tensioner. I put it in my Ultra Limited last winter, and have no issues. Just rode to Sturgis and Montana from TX, and I'm going to pull the primary and have a look, since I'm going on a long road trip to North Carolina and who knows where else in Oct.
I remember when I installed the Hayden, I tried to force it to make contact with the primary, and wasn't even close when it bottomed out. I was impressed.
I have used the Hayden M6 with great success on previous bikes. I recently installed the M6 on my 2020 131. The primary knocked so much I removed it and went back stock. I was solving a problem I didn't have. I had thought of it as an upgrade. I don't know what the problem was or is. I tried different adjustments to no avail. Stock adjuster works...

I only have about a thousand miles on it so far but really like it. Simple design. Quiet and smooth. I would have to guess when bushings start to wear you might hear some noise. Have not seen anyone wear one out yet. I tend to only pay attention to actual first hand experience. There is just to much hear say out there with all this stuff. If I do wear out the bushings or if one of my Haydens has a issue I will post up pics. Guess I should of posted pics of my stock, galled up comp and very tight chain.
I put a Hayden into my 07 less than 10,000 miles ago and the plastic has just broke, sending parts into my rotor, stator, etc. Now to replace it all AND put in the OEM chain adjuster. Total piece of crap. I would check yours asap.

I still have mine and have checked it several times. No problems or weird wear. Only 3000 plus miles on it. I will be honest, there are so many knock offs of the Hayden floating around I'm not sure you can actually get a good one anymore. I wouldn't recommend them anymore because of that I'm sorry to say.
