Congrats. Clearly it’s got a stage 1 at least. Enjoy it! The Twin Cam 96” motor is the best of the Twin Cams I feel. I had an 88” a 96” (still do) and a 103”….the 96” was the sweet spot in my opinion. Should be a good runner.

It looks good. I really like my 2009. After 139,000 miles I haven't had any major problems. Those years have issues with compensators and inner primary bearings but that won't show up for at least 30,000 more miles. There isn't much to worry about a bike that has sat if it looks that clean. Just make sure all of the fluids have been changed, especially the brake fluid. Check the date codes on the tires and if they are over 5 years old replace them. Have you noticed the engine guard is missing? I think it's a good idea to put one back on it. I've laid mine down twice stopping on gravel and on an awkward u turn and the bike lands on the engine guard and the bottom of the exhaust. Plus you might want highway pegs.

Congratulations - looks very sweet. Fluids, tires, battery, cables, etc., will all need to be looked at just for peace-of-mind and rider satisfaction. No engine guards would be the first modification as mentioned above.

Stage 1 perhaps?

Enjoy it and smile the whole time out there. 😎

Yes, all the touring models come with engine guards. But the Street Glide doesn't come with the saddlebag guards like most other touring bikes do.

eBay or Amazon engine guards are a bit over $100. OEM ones are twice that. But you might find one on Craigslist. Some guys are changing to the latest “chopped” engine guards so there could be lots of stock takeoffs available cheap.

So far I like the bike and it’s a huge difference then my 98. It has wheel upgrades, air cleaner, grips and little things that I’ve noticed so far. I’ll post some pics next.
What did you do with the Wide Glide?

I was on a SG from 2009 to present. I recently sold it just because of the sheer amount of them I see in general and at rallies. I went with a CVO Road King and like the non fairing look but appreciate the usefulness of the bags.
