I traded it in. Yeah they didn’t give me much for it but I was happy with it as i know it was in need of some work. I do have some extra parts that I’m going to try and list here soon once I get them sorted out.
I know it's been a while how have you liked the bike so far? Have you done any cool mods to it? May I suggest a full stage 2 upgrade. You will love it even more.
I’ve changed a lot cosmetically like the bars, seat, floor boards got extended forward and outward, put V&H pipes with some 4inch Rinehart mufflers and lots of little stuff mainly to make me more comfortable on the bike. Haven’t done anything to the motor and don’t really plan to. Did take the primary off to see what compensator was inside and it is the stock one. Haven’t had any problems with the bike yet other then the fuel valve started leaking which the dealer fixed and the fuel gauge started bouncing in which I got a used one on eBay that has worked great but I got a new one just in case. Got a few projects to do on it once I get time like go through the front forks. I got a Legends 21 inch kit on Facebook marketplace for about half retail that I want to install and I got a new throttle grip twist sensor I want to install as my original one I reused with the new bars and has that “sandpaper” feel that I dislike. Also I went with the newer 2014 style saddlebags.

Well, my last ride was a Fatboy and I just bought a Street Glide a few months ago. A pro was the batwing, especially riding in cold weather. A con was also the batwing, wind buffeting became an issue, shaking my head around like a paint can shaker. I had tried a few different windshields and settled on a 9.5" clearview windshield. The saddlebags and tour pack were a huge upgrade being able to do light shopping while out on trips is nice or being able to go on a multiday trip without having to bungee down a bag is really nice.

wind buffering was something I had to deal with also. The best thing I did that took care of 95% of it was the fork fangs. Look at my front end and you will see them. Some people take them off during hot months but I’ve left mine on with no overheating problems.

DK Customs sells a little deflector that kills all the air coming over the tank, may buy that, but the windshield kills 90% of the air flow and if I put those deflectors on I might end up roasting with no air flow.
