Congrats on targeting a low mileage street glide. Clean and straightforward to look at. Are you buying through a dealer or a private sale? Try to get all service records and look under the bike for any leaks. Check the voltage gauge; make sure it's charging 14 volts. Check when the battery was last replaced. Check if the air shocks are holding psi pressure. Then check a reputable website for used mc pricing. Great choice and Good luck!

Well I’m looking to move from my EVO Dyna Wide Glide into something newer and I’ve been looking at touring bikes. The Road Glides just doesn’t interest me but the Street Glides and Electric Glides I like. I was just looking for info on what to look out for with the TC motors and the bike in general. The one I’m looking at has less then 8k miles and has had some upgrades.
You never did say if it is a dealer bike or private owner. If it were me I'd be wanting to find out why a 12 year old bike (2022 would typically be out by now) would only have 8000 miles on it. At some point it must have done a lot of setting around. That would scare me a little. I had 2 Twin Cam Street Glides (2009, 2014) and put about 100000 miles on them combined and never had a major problem (motor, transmission, electrical).

Sorry it’s at a dealership and I figured it has been sitting around but then who knows. I only put 40;000 miles on my 98 Dyna WG and I was the original owner. The dealership has no records of any work being done to it. Full disclosure I went ahead and got it. Being I got it from a dealer I know I probably paid too much but I’m ok with it. So far I like the bike and it’s a huge difference then my 98. It has wheel upgrades, air cleaner, grips and little things that I’ve noticed so far. I’ll post some pics next.
