Default Handle bar wiring going nowhere

Any help would be awesome on my 09 FLHTCU. Doing a aftermarket stereo upgrade ( Aquatic ) and when I removed factory unit I found 2 wires , 1 black , 1 white coming out of the right side of handlebar cutout directly under stereo. I cannot see any place to connect them to. Shielding is labeled Draka DE which I assume is the wire manufacturer. All handle bar switches are working fine but obviously I don’t want to leave them dangling if they are necessary for something unknown to my rookie brain.
These

Dead center of handlebar cutout under stereo. Are they possibly factory wires for heated grips?

Correct. The throttle side heated grip would plug directly into the end of the twist grip sensor. Those wires are pre-installed from factory for accessory heated grip kits.

If you do not have heated grips, test each wire to find if they are 'hot', (powered). If so, protect the hot wire from grounding out.

Those wires will not have power on them. They run thru the handlebar and connect to a 2-pin socket on the end of the twist grip sensor. They are used to provide power to the heated throttle grip when used. If you ever remove a twist grip sensor you will find 2 connectors about 6 inches back from the sensor. One is the green plug for the throttle by wire connections that everyone bitches about during a handlebar swap. The second is a small black connector with the black and white wires for optional heated grips.

Awesome. They have no power. I was surprised how clean they were after 12 years of just dangling there. I can stow them now and rest easy. Aquatic AV stereo install is now complete. All I lost is CB radio and intercom. Sounds great.
