Default Front wheel bearings

Who is the go to for front wheel bearings? I've used Allballsracing in the past for other bikes with good results but I don't find any listed for a '20 Limited.

I use HD .....

Last time I felt one of my wheel bearings was a little "crusty" feeling, about June 2020, I got a set of HD bearings....At that time, HD had recently switched to a new wheel bearing.. #9276B w/o ABS encoder & #9252A w/ ABS encoder.

I have no idea if they are better bearings, or HD just went to a different/cheaper supplier... but they are working well for me...

I ordered a set of World Wide bearings from Brocks Performance, they have both the regular and ABS in both steel and ceramic. I have a set of the steel ones in my garage and am going to replace the originals soon on the RGL with 11k miles. They are American made, they cost a bit more but for peace of mind.

I was looking at the description for their bearings. If you look at the ceramic, they show them as made in the USA, however there is no mention of the steel ones origin. My guess, is they are overseas manufactured, probably no better than the other aftermarket products.

I spoke to Brocks about that being their bearings have no stamping on them, they assured me that they are made in USA or at least assembled here. WWB site says both races are from Japanese chrome steel. I know that Japanese bearings such as Koyo are a good quality bearing. Am now wishing would have spent the extra for the ceramic ones but will see how the steel ones do. Having lost a rear bearing on the Low Rider at 23k and 150 miles from home a good quality bearing is a must. one can find the Timken 205PP at a bearing house but they do not make the abs one.

This ^^^^^. The wheel bearings on earlier touring bikes (ie my 2008 and 2013) were junk and needed replacing soon after new. I just pulled the wheels off my 2018 Ultra with 25000 kms ( 15000 miles ) for new tires. The original Dunlops probably had another 2 thousand miles of tread left but they were so severely cupped on the outer edges that they howled like crazy when leaned in a corner and cornering grip was getting sketchy. Easy test, run your hands one way down the side of the tread area of your tire and then run your hand the other way, easier to feel cupping than it is to see it.

That being said, the newer bikes seem to have the wheel bearing issue sorted out. My wheel bearings are all still in good condition with a very slight drag and smooth as can be. The Dealer who installed new tires on my wheels for me also checked the bearings and agreed they are in good shape.

Even though the factory Dunlops began to cup on the outer edges, I have been really happy with the ride and the mileage I got out of them so decided to go with new Dunlops from Harley Davidson again.
