Anyone running Legends suspension? Rear shocks say anything over 500 lbs go with Heavy duty. 2 up I am at about 430, anyone close and what are you running? Standard or heavy duty?
I have the HD 13 inch Revo A on mine. We are not close to that weight but we do pull a trailer over 75% of the time. I have a 2018 RGS with a king tour pack usually full and both bags with gear almost always. When i ride by myself i usually soften it up with a few turns on the springs and/or turn the **** to #2 from #3

Is standard enough for 430?
The wife and I with the luggage is right in that range. I went with the Revo A with the heavy duty spring. NIGHT AND DAY difference in the ride. I wouldn't go any other way. My Harley dealer said anywhere over 400 they recommend just getting the heavy duty. You can always change the rebound a little bit to adjust for a little less weight.
I would suggest to call Legend faculty and see what they say from your % solo, 2 up, and 2 up + gear riding habits
I just road the most beat down, bumpy roads with the passenger is 6-2 and Im 6-4 and FULLY loaded down including tools, Tour Pak fully packed, etc. Easily at 500 pounds. Thing is I only ride like that for about 5-10%. I really disliked being over sprung when riding solo. Thats when I like it to ride best, in the configuration and weirder that I normally ride Solo.
The revo-a standard springs were best shocks Ive ever run and Ive run quite a few, by the way.
I used to have Pro-Action and thought they were too heavy duty of a spring. It was like being in a 1 ton compared to a 1/4 ton truck. Its going to ride like $hit without a full load at the max level all the time. Just my attempt at an analogy for too heavy duty a spring
Anyway, check with the experts on their own shocks they built, designed and sell and trained as such.
If you find a Standard being your thing.., Ive have a BRAND NEW set on sale in the classifieds for a nice discount and free shipping in the lower 48:
Also make sure to take into account how often you're riding 2 up loaded. If your always doing that then the heavy setup might be the ticket. I personally only ride in the 400+ weight such a small amount I went with the standard and just crank the setting as needed. I'm running 14" Legend remotes on mine and +2 up front. With my wife and full luggage we tip the scale a little over 4 and I personally love the standard setup. Still stiff enough when tightened but soft enough when I'm running around solo which is 95% of the time.

I am in the same boat as you with in 10 pounds. Legend recommended the heavy springs.
The heavy duty spring will work for you as it did for me. Just adjust them in accordance with the instructions with a 1" sag.
I had to adjust for me alone and for me and my wife so I would know where to set them if she wants to ride.
The bike rides great solo or 2 up when adjusted correctly.
I love the Revo-A's. I also have the Axeo's up front.
