Default Removing throttle cable from switch housing

What's the trick for removing the cables OUT OF the housing? The ends and brass ferrules are out but how do i remove the cables completely?

IIRC they are threaded into the housing,

Yes, collapse the adjusters all the way. Sometimes you have to rotate the throttle plate at the carb by hand and disconnect them there first. But not always, some are different. I use a small pair of forceps to grab the cable just below the ferrule and then rotate the throttle to slip it out the hole. Fat fingers in small places....

Just pull them straight down. They are held in place by circlips (#9 & #10). The circlips will remain on the cables.

Ok I got it. Had to pull a little harder to remove but they did pop out. Anyway some people talk about how EASY this is but I see it different since I had to remove the rh nacelle just to cut a big TIEWRAP that someone(factory) had installed on the cables I guess to keep them from moving around. The gas tank issue is easy. Just lift it a couple of inches at the front.
I guess I'll add the tie wrap back since it was there before I touched it.
