The throttle sensor has two distinct outputs, typically that have different slopes. The ECU can compare the two slopes to confirm the sensor is operating. So, it may not be a case of no signal. It could be a case of two signals that do not match a predetermined map. Hall-Effect sensors are not repairable, but rarely become defective.

yeah..do the same with the temp sensor plug wires too as they are the same as the tb wires.

I replaced the TMAP sensor and that seems to have done the trick. I didn't replace the TMAP wires as suggested.
