I will say this about Splitfire of old…great marketing. No performance difference…but they fielded some great MX racers back in the day with Pro Circuit headed by Mitch Payton.
Unless you’re talking about plugs for specialty engines, like airplanes, nitro Meth motors, etc., a plug is a plug.
Resistor is the only question and that won’t harm/help performance, it’s really about compatibility with modern electronics, knock sensor and radio interference.
