I did take it out for a quick spin. It does shift better. Seems more solid.

Heim joints are the only way to go on these shift rods. For those of you who do not want to change to a fancy **** linkage, you can get Heim joints to fit in place of the factory mounts. They will give you a far better feel and positive shift. Plus you don't have to worry about moisture getting inside like it does on factory joints.

It does shift better.
