looking for suggestions or advise

I am installing 14" monkey bars on my 09 Ultra. While its apart I decided to go ahead and add chrome switch covers as well as clutch and master cylinder and levers. Now I'm thinking about replacing the mirrors also. Those of you with apes behind a batwing fairing can you send pics of your mirrors. Not sure I want them underneath because I fear my arms will be in the way. But if I go top side, I don't want them so tall they look stupid. I'm even considering drilling the fairing and using street glide mirrors instead. Just looking for ideas from folks who have been there done that.

2008 FLHT. 14 inch bars, mirrors mounted under. I got some aftermarket mirrors with slightly longer stems, and the visibility is fine, my arms aren't in the way
