I put a set of the twin Bitubo shocks on my last bike - Road King - those shocks absolutely rocked - highly recommended!

Ohlins HD 022
No nonsense 13" shock.
Best upgrade I've done to my Street Glide.
Got them for $560 from Direct Cycle Parts

With all of the much better shocks available, many of which are designed and made in the USA, it amazes me that HD doesn't build their models using better shocks.....and in the case of the heavy touring models actually use TWO real shocks and not just one shock on one side and a "spring", that does nothing, on the other side?

IF HD wanted a better ride, straight out of the factory, they should partner up with one of those dedicated shock manufactures. Heck the new bikes are EXPENSIVE already so what's another few hundred bucks per model (assuming HD would buy at a better price than "we" individuals. And, it's not like "suspension" isn't important,,,,,it's very important, in many cases critical on motorcycles.

....my two cents.

I agree. Accessories make up a good portion of sales for HD.

I have a set of Legend Revos 13” black in an unopened box:

I have ohlins on my glide and legends on my king. For the money the legends are awesome. Still dialing in my ohlins which are expensive AF

I don't trust any shock with compression adjustment but no rebound. if you're going from solo to 2up you need rebound adjustment
