Bitubo on my 2014 Ultra Limited. I did my very scientific test on Ocean Parkway here on L.I. . The road is pretty wavy in some areas and I decided it was a good spot to test the shocks and adjust to my liking. DKCustoms pre-set based on my weights given. Rebound damping on 3 and preload set. I ended up softening the shock a notch, to 4 and 1 full turn to soften the ride. Tour pack on and I'm 210 lbs. It bottomed out anyway and once back home I see maybe softening was the wrong way to go. I should have increased the spring load. Tighter ride but won't bottom out. So now I'm just confused and don't know what the hell i'm doing. . Bitubo does suggest trying several different times to get the "sweet spot" I'll get it perfect and then take the tour pack off next month anyway for Spring and start over

On my Bitubos, to go softer on rebound it adjusts from 3 (like DK shipped) to 2 or 1. I adjusted from 3 to 2, and then from 2 back up to to 2.5.
Thanks for your update. Did you try them set as DK sent them to you?
The pre-load setting from DK Customs seems just right for me. I only made a very slight change in rebound setting which only requires getting on the ground to reach under the bags and exhaust to do it on both sides. No tools necessary. Ended up re-setting rebound back to very close to how they were shipped.
Yes. I rode about 100 miles or so before adjusting it. I felt like it was rebounding too hard on the bigger bumps. No. matter the tinkering, they feel way better than the stock air shocks I had.
