I’ve had two Road Kings over the years and I now have a 2021 Road King Special. About the only thing I miss from the Road Kings is the light bar. Extra light is always good. My dealer says that they can install the same auxiliary lights used on the Road Glide including the day maker lights that would match my headlights. It would require drilling a hole on both sides of the nacelle but they’ve done it before. I’m strongly considering it.
Have any of you done something like this to a FLHRXS, or seen one?
Been there, done that. Only reason that HD says the street glide kit wont work is that the wiring harness isn't compatible with the RKS. Had to de-pin the connectors and rearrange them to work for the RK. I've got aftermarket lights but the concept is still the same.

I didn't drill holes because I'm using a quick detach windshield that slides between the brackets and nacelle. Wires go behind the nacelle through the bottom in my case.

thanks. I’m using the windsplitter windshield and I don’t want to lose that option.
A couple years ago I saw a black RKS with this H-D AUX Light kit and moved the turns from the bars to the bracket. The bike also had the King windshield with the black bracket. The bike looked really sharp.
You're from Salisbury and the bike I saw was at Tilley's in Statesville.
So I have the Road King standard aux lights on my 2017 RKS. Getting them together was a heck of a task. I referenced the SIP parts catalog and identified all the parts, ordered them on Surdyke and had them powder coated black. Lastly, had my indy mechanic sort out the wiring. Definitely a labor of love and more expensive than other aux light options but I really wanted that classic RK standard look. If you have questions send me a PM and Ill do my best to answer.
