So I just purchased a 2014 street glide standard with 2744 miles from original owner that sat for A year or so it does start and run but has a half a tank of fuel plugs and air filter were pretty bad I already put new plugs new air filter wondering if I should drain the fuel in the tank or will I be OK I have not started the bike yet plan on doing a three hole fluid change but once the three hole is done can I fire the bike up and be OK with that half a tank of Old Fuel im going to attach pictures of the air filter and spark plugs

Definately drain it as much as possible , then add premium fuel .
Did you not hear it run before you bought the bike ? that is very risky , especially after looking at that filter element .
It looks like the previous owner was not too concerned about maintenance .

I edited the post yes I did hear it run the bike sat for a while because the owner bent the rim so when the dealership drop the bike off they fired it up right in front of me I heard the bike run it sat there and ran at idle for a good 20 minutes while me and him were doing the paperwork so yes I know the bike does run I shouldve added to that first
I'm glad that you did hear it run .
Gas goes bad quite fast .
Ethonal absorbs moisture rather fast .
If you cant drain out the existing fuel , add as much fresh premium fuel as posdible , and ride the bike EASY untill you use up the old fuel...just to be cautious..safe
