Getting the one FOB was bad enough. But the main point I was making it that it took soo long for the bypass code to work!
much rather have another FOB.
Trust me ... you'll more things to be frustrated with ... wait til it's time to change the oil and you have to make a choice ;>

Take a pix of the PIN instructions on your phone. That way youll always have it. Its like sex. It gets easier the more times you try ..

Money says I can put your code in under 20 seconds. What are you finding difficult?
If I wasn't so old with only one eye I could probably do it under 10 seconds!

it took a long time to prompt the bypass. Entering the code was easy. It was just frustrating that it took 6-8 cycles of the switch to get it to promt.
Earlier I was curious to why the new bike came with only one FOB. Thats another story .. Many said they didnt need a second FOB so I figured I get used to using my code to start it. It took me 6-8 times of cycling the switch and waiting for everything to stop flashing before I could enter my code. IMO this is bullshit. Id like to have a FOB at home as well as one in my pocket. My dealer wants $147 plus labor to program it. Im thinking after spending a rediculas amount on this bike and being the second Ive bought from the dealer, I shouldnt have to shell out another $200 for another FOB. Especially when the bypass code took me 6-8 trys before it prompted the code entry.
Rant over ..
yes they should give 3 fobs, lifetime oil changes and tires for free.

when you are trying to input the pin, you've got to make sure that you do not have the fob on you. when you turn your ignition on, it should automatically prompt you for the pin, no turning on/off, etc.
i suspect you were having problems because your fob was too close.
