I know it’s very basic, make sure the polarity of the new batteries is correct.

Pay attention to interference... Like toll booths, radio antenna,... for example

Any sense in trying a new Alarm antenna first?
Thanks for the reply.
As far as I know security module doesn't have a battery, siren (is that what you call horn ?) does and if I'm not mistaken when battery low in siren it will do three chirps.

If the siren starts going off... and you have your fob, turn the ignition on... and the siren will stop, and reset... or better yet, turn the ignition on while moving your bike.

I don't know if it is by design, or just at that moment its not "seeing" the fob, so it chirps... but found it annoying enough, that I just turn the ignition on. I couldn't tell you if it did it before the siren was installed, but that was a few years ago and just the lights flashing wouldn't have been as annoying
This makes the most sense to me. I'm too cheap to replace the alarm and I'd rather not remove it completely for now. If I do remove it I'll buy something cheap/aftermarket, at least then I could have piece of mind as well as after sale service without having to walk into the Stealership. Thanks to all who replied. It's certainly an odd issue.
Thanks again.
