I am looking to purchase this flag holder for my 07 Ultra but somewhere (don't recall where) I caught wind that there is a difference with the 07 & previous years where this bracket would mount. Anybody confirm or deny that fact? Please look at pictures in the link below to see where it mounts.
fur shure. if you want to be correct, if you are not center mpuntingthe American flag it should be mounted to your right when seated on the bike. the only other flag that can be the same size as your american flag is the POW/MIA flag. all other flags are to be smaller.
The only gotcha I could think of would be if the tour pack has been relocated too far back for the (150 degree angle)flag pole to clear the rear of the tour pack. I don't think the fender or saddlebag supports have changed recently.
Looks like this mount will block Tail Lights & Turn Signals especially when the flags are flying.
db, nope. one of our ride captains uses this exact mount on his Glide and you can see all his lights just fine! In fact, I'm getting the same mount for my EGC. First time I've seen one I really like. Til now, most of us have been using home made stuff for our 3x5 flags. This thing is a big improvement on homemade!

The PF910 will work on your bike however you will need to take the stock
Harley bag guards off the bike in order for this to mount properly to your
bike.We are in the process of designing another bracket to allow you to
keep the Harley bag mounts in place, however they have not been completed
yet.If you would like to place an order for a flag mount I would be happy
to assist you with your order.
I have asked when the new brackets will be in place. And the flags are much higher than the lights, even above the tour pak.

I have a lot of respect for the American flag, just try burning one in front of me.But I have seen other flags the same size all over the place to include when I was in the military. The US Army flag was the same size. I'm pretty sure where I see a state flag flying underneath it's the same size. Is this like to the extreme letter of the law (so to speak) of flag etiquette or does thecountrydisrespect the American flag on a daily basis?
I'm planning on flying it on my bike (right side) along side a PGR flag. Luckily for me I have a 4x6 and the PGR is 3x5. It may make me pull to the right a bit on the bike.[sm=biker2.gif]
Parts guy at local dealer says there is not difference between 07 and previous years. Anybody been up and personal with the backend of a 07 Ultra compared to something a bit older?
My info came from ansection in the American Legion Riders Website.

It turns out the product works fine on Electra Glides. Road Kings is the one they are making a different bracket for. Mine is mounted upand I made a test run with 1 3x5 flag up to 70 with no issue at all, although I did run a bungee from the bottom eyebolt the flag is mounted to back to the luggage rack just to keep a bit of tension off the rack.
