There the running lights. There white leds as running lights and turn amber for turn signal. I mean it could be something like that. I have checked all that stuff though. But yeah still could be. The wire extensions clip in to the factory harness and I made sure to here an audible click when I plugged them in. I then taped them together and those are inside the bars. My only issue with it being a wiring broblem like that is that both sides are doing this. If it was just one side then yeah I would think wire pinch or something like that. I used Namz wiring. Unless it’s just there harness doesn’t work with my bike but that’s unlikely as well. Why would both front turn signals just come on as solid running lights but not blink when I hit the switch? It’s a head scratcher
I don't expect this is the wiring from the handlebar control modules to the bike. I would start by toning out all the fuses just to be sure, and then pup the headlight to review the wiring connections inside the nacelle. The BCM is seeing a continuity issue here.
When I get home from work I’ll check all the fuses. I was in behind the headlight the other day and unplugged everything and checked all the connections.
I did pull the main fuse before I did any work. It was out the entire time. Do you know what bcm controls the front lights? I believe there are multiple bcms. I have the owners manual but not the repair manual.
I just had same problem as you with the Namz kit. The factory plug is set up with one pin ,and empty one and then the last 2 pins. The Namz one has the 3 pins in a row.
I had to pull the pins on the Namz kit and match it to the harley one. And it was a pain because there so small. So much for plug and play

with the error codes you reported, and the provided descriptions, I think this idea from black ice bob, is likely the cause. I would inspect the connectors to see if they can be connected 2 ways - assuming a 3 wire/pin flat connector, it is possible it is reversed, and thus, one wire is not actually contacting the corresponding wire in that connector .If this is not the case, I would suspect one or two of the included connectors (presumably on the extension pieces included with the kit??) might have the pins in the wrong slots, thus the open error condition - again, you might need to reverse the connector(s) OR de-pin and re-pin to match up the wires on both sides of the connector(s).
Wow! This is crazy! What bike do you have? On my road king special the extensions go from the top up to the signals that are mounted under my levers. So did you have to redo both sides of the namz kit? Or just one side? Because for me one end is inside the bars. I can check the other side though. At the turn signal if I take apart the control modules. Thank you for this info. I called namz and the dude even said they could be pinned wrong.
Ok, I mean this sounds to me like the only thing that makes sense. I’ve just checked everything else so many times. At this point I can only look at one end because the other side is inside the handlebars now. But at lease I’ll know. It would be a huge pain in the *** if I had to pull the bars and do it all over. But… thank you for this info. I’ll check on it.
I bought the kit they have specifically for a 2018 Road King Special. had exact same problem. I was able to pull the wires from the top of the bars to find the pin set up was different from the factory set up. i never even thought to check before install just clicked them together and carried on . was a pain..
This was second kit i got from them, the first kit was missing the kill switch wiring.
