I have the WHIM module, Harley Sena headsets, and when a call comes in, I hit answer and I hear other end say hello, they hear me, then they don't and I don't hear them. Time on phone still going so not hung up. With just my phone connected to headset no problem. But going through bike, nope. I have dealer appointment, but does anyone have an idea what the problem is? Whim module? thanks.
It is likely a bluetooth problem. I have had similar issues, with both the H-D Sena unit paired to my CVO Limited and a Sena50 unit paired to my Triumph Tiger with a Garmin Zumo XT, when the headset is paired with BOTH the phone and the Boom GTS or a Garmin. In the bluetooth menu on our phone, try "forgetting" the Sena unit so it only connects to the Boom GTS on the bike. Connect your phone to the Boom GTS via USB connection in the console, then use bluetooth to connect the bike to headset. See if that helps.

thanks for the idea!
I will try later today. But doesn't this defeat the point of paying for the module/ install, only to have to plug ones phone in the bike? Not a big deal I guess for it to work, but....
I agree with the above feedback - if your phone is connected to both your helmet headset and the bike via Bluetooth, it is very possible it is fighting between the 2 connections once the call gets connected.
As suggested, you can try forgetting your helmet Bluetooth connection in your phone settings, or you can simply select disconnect for that connection, and then test with a call, with your phone plugged into the usb hub on your bike, and then the bike whim Bluetooth connected to your helmet.
Thank you guys for your suggestion of unpairing phone with headset, plugging phone into bike. Perfect reception. This stuff is confusing as to what needs to be connected! Guess if it wasn't for the 2 devices fighting my setup would have worked.
configure option did show up once helmet close.
