This place sells the Cycle Shades, but they also have seat only shades/covers. When I travel into hot climes, I use one of these. It's a thin padding for the long rides.
Their reflective seat covers look like what I wear on my head to quiet the voices.....
In warmer/hot I'll sometimes throw my mesh jacket across it.
Although I haven't done it myself a previous coworker had a semi-sheer American Flag he somehow attached the corners to the handlebars on one end and to the tour pack on the other. Looked pretty cool.
I bought one of these a few years ago. I bought the size that covers the entre two up seat, but can also use it for my solo seat. I have absilutley no complaints about it, except that some guys might think it doesnt look 'cool enough'. Its held up for several summers here in the Palm Springs area where it get over 110 degrees regularly in the summertime. I highly recommend them. Definitley keeps my seat cooler when the bike is sitting in the sun. Lightwight and takes very little room to store. No, i'm not getting compensated to promote them, lol.
