I need a new rubber piece for the bottom of the stock windshield on my 06 RG. (I put on a clearview and lost the stock piece, now I have to go back to the HD shield due to a handlebar clearance problem). Anyway...HD wants $20 for that rubber strip! There's gotta be the same stuff on a spool at a local auto parts house but I don't have the original to use as a pattern. (The clearview strip doesn't work--too fat) Can somebody take a digital pic of the edge of the strip and post it or e-mail it to me? Thanks. Oh, and I'm not interested in buying the HD chrome piece.

What kind of clearance problem do you have? I had to slightly move my mirrors in to clear my size large clearview but it was an easy adjustment to make.Just curious

 

I replaced the stock bars with Wide Glide mini apes. I should have included that in the original post.
