FWIW

Using the kill switch will blow a tune out - happened to me on a few scoots

I only use it now when absolutely necessary

3 dumbasses - love it

Never said it would crash / harm the ecm / bcm

Said it has wiped out my AF tunes - which then reverts to the embedded "stock" tune and needs re-flashed

Kill switch is a very abrupt way of powering down / ignition switch is more graceful way

now un-wad your damn panties

No choice - no ignition switch on the Ultra. The wife's Honda I only use the ignition switch.

Kill switch is the only option I have on my bike (CVO) and it’s never blown a tune or caused me to have to reload a tune, same when I had my SGS, while it had the ignition switch I used the bar switch 99% of the time and never caused any of the said issues. I’m certainly no expert so if it caused Ghost those problems then I can say that’s the first I’ve ever heard of such a thing.
