I bought the case, which replaced the loose Otter Case, and the case seems better anyhow. It has a tether cord, that I use, but I guess it's optional. I have my HD 30K, and I run an iPhone wire over to the phone for CarPlay / charging... BONUS- case has a magnet, that's handy for keeping the phone secure. I got mine with a 25% discount as an internet influencer had it posted in the comments section of his vLogs...
Although I don't like being bothered while riding, it ensures I'm ontop of Spotwalla for long / IBA rides.
I didn't deal with anyone - just ordered it and installed it.
I like my SP Connect mount. They make the Harley branded ones. I have the clutch perch mount and the adhesive adapter stuck to my Otterbox case. You can set it up at any angle you need, and the mount has an anti vibration plate built in. I don't know how well that works, but my camera is fine and I've had it for a year or so (Samsung phone). I use it when I need to see the map, and I went with this one because when my phone isn't on it, it's not a big goofy contraption to look at. Klockwerks has a magnetic phone mount that I'd be interested in.
I really like my Rok-Form, but you have to use their phone case. It’s a good case and has a crazy strong magnet that is useful, I place mine on the side of my toolbox while in the garage.
