If you want to stay in warranty the 103 stg II /SERT is a nice package . I have 1500 miles on mine and am happy . If warranty isn't a concern I'd go with the GMR 107 kit , and the CNC heads Steve offers .. it willl be worth it. With Steve's help I got 108hp/111lbs ft out of my stage IV 95 . He's great!
I recently installed the big bore kit on my '07 Road Glide. I had a great time doing it. I followed the service manual meticulously, step by step. It took me (I'm not a professional mechanic) approximately 3 1/2 days, including having compression releases put on my cylinder heads. I took some pics as I was working through the project.
The bike runs great. I'm still going easy (lots of cold weather still around), as I'm breaking in the new pistons, cylinders, and cams. But, it's got a bunch more punch, even at low RPMs.
Oh a Bagger, if you do a Indy 103 kit with yer heads done, SE piston, Arlen ness Big sucker stage II, Thundermax with Auto tune and mabe some Bob Woods TW6 cams, you'd be over 100 tq and about 95 hp and still have decent fuel milage if you didn't hammer it. The 103 will be a better build, not cost as much and probaly have longer life. YOu will have more power than you would ever use. I had it on my 07.
