pre 1997 Tour Pack quick release
Has anyone come across a Tour Pack quick release kit or fabricated one to fit a 1996 and older Electra Glide? What is the reason they wont fit the pre 1997 bike?

Worth your time to post this in the EVO section. More folks with experience with bikes of that vintage. On my 89 FLHT I made my own setup back in the day. Will look for pics to try and show what I did.

I put a 1997-2008 quick detach on my 1987 Electra Glide many years ago. My 87 had the old style bags with the lift off lids. They mounted too close to the frame to use the front mounts for a passenger backrest but the rear mounts worked for my tour pak. You should be able to put at least the rear mounts on your 93-96 and could probably put the front mount on too with the newer bags.
