I have a 2012 street glide and the 6 gear indicator light not coming on in 6 gear could anyone help?

 

Could be burnt out bulb or led, bad circuit board wiring issue. Check for codes. If none you'll have to trouble shoot it with the wiring diagrams.

 

Do you have any other issues/irregularities? I had this issue of the 6th gear indicator light not coming on with my previous 2012 UC. Other issue at the same time was it won't start in gear (with the clutch pulled in). Kick it into neutral and started fine. I had a b1154 (clutch switch input short to ground) error code. I tried cleaning it but it didn't change. Replaced the clutch lockout switch and it resolved both problems.

 

If you have an FP3 tuner, call V&H customer service to see if they can fix it. There are a few little glitches that they can fix.

 

yep lefty.... usually is linked to something else... cruise ? high idle ? speedo working ? that all happened to me when my speed sensor burped on a long cross country ride..... code thru and dealer said might not happen again after clearing and resatrting..... who knows ..?? it hasnt.
