Ceramic coating spray
After using a "clay bar" and a spray of "detailer" and a soft terry cloth towel to buff the painted surfaces, the surfaces of my vehicles are slippery like glass. That's my twice a year treatment. No "magic" spray coatings just good old fashioned, tried and true methods for me.
Looks awesome. I put a different brand ceramic on my truck before winter and in the spring it was still beading water. Thats after salt and that crap they use up north here in Michigan.

If you clay it is best practice to machine polish after. Claying can/will mar the paint. All claying does is remove any contaminants that are stuck to the paint. Thats it, nothing more.
I dont use spray coatings, just true ceramic coatings. Ive applied them to a lot of vehicles for customers. They are not "Magic', they are the real deal
WTF? LOL Sir, you just 'aint right...lol

FYI...."claying" will not harm a clear coated vehicles surface....IF....done properly, ie: working small areas at a time AND using plenty of lubricating spray or detailing spray as you clay.
One of the most respected detailers in the world, Mike Phillips, recommends machine polishing after using clay. He has worked for McGuires and Autogeek. Ive always followed this.
Claying doesnt hurt the paint but it can/will mar it.
I do 30-40 cars a year, just a side gig, and if I use the baggie test and need to clay or use a clay mitt, I always polish afterwards.
Do what you want, your bike.
