Hi all. I'm having issues with my HD 30K Sena Headset connecting with my Street Glide CVO. It was working for many months, now when I listen to it while riding, I get distortion, and a voice comes on that says "Headset not connected, please try again later" or something like that. I took it to the dealer, and the tech said HD doesn't do well when you pair both an Iphone as well as the headset, so suggested I just pair the headset to the bike, and then plug in my iphone to use Car Play. Tried that on my way home, thinking that was it. Same thing happens. I even switched from FM Radio to music on my iphone, thinking it could be a tuner/reception problem. The tech told me before I left, that if this doesn't work, they may have to replace the entire radio head behind the fairing. I suggested that they try to give me a new headset, which would be less invasive. Waiting for them to let me know what they want to do next. It's under warranty, so not concerned about what they want to do, but reaching out to see if anyone else has had this issue, and if so, what you did to remedy it? Thx.

Hi. I have also problem after updating firmware to 3.x. I get this same message and alert sound frequently - but only when driving over about 60km/h. This is really strange...
Only way to get rid of it is to downgrade to earlier 2.x firmware from backup. Loosing new features this way though. It is really pitty after spending big buck for WHIM and all...
I get better sound and less background noise when I power up the headset first, and then power up the GPS it is paired to. Music is on a SD card in the GPS so no phone in the equation.
Is there a push button on the helmet unit to toggle the microphone on/off? If so, turn off the mic. Or if you use a FF helmet make to put it inside the chin bar, not outside.
And if you don't have a second passenger unit, turn off any intercom features. Otherwise when the mic picks up noise it switches to intercom mode. If it's picking up continuous noise it's going in and out of intercom mode continuously, until firmware somewhere either crashes or disconnects it due to excess BT errors.

there is a setting where you can disable the vox activation on the mic and have to hit a button to talk. unfortunately, you'd be giving up one aggravation for another. having to continually take your hand off the bars and press a button to talk would get old after a while.
