Street glide seat, but with useable passenger area?
As time has gone on, I've tried a few different seats. Currently I have a hammock and a factory 11 SG seat. I've grown to like the factory seat better than the hammock, but it's just not acceptable for the wife so I swap between them often.
What seat is out there that keeps the same low and back position as the SG seat but has a big passenger pad like an Ultra?
Picked up a used one that was a previous version. Ended up not caring for it, unfortunately. I'm pretty sure it was NOT the extended reach though, which at 6'3" I definitely want.
I'm at the other end of the height spectrum, but have you looked at what Mustang has to offer? I've got a Mustang Lowdown Original touring solo seat (obviously not the specific model that you would want) it has worked great for everything from local rides to Iron Butt rides. However, they've got a large selection of models. The nice thing about their solo seats is that you can then mix and match them to the passenger pillion from a variety of options to suit her preference. I also like that I can remove the passenger pillion and replace it with a good-looking Motherwell solo luggage rack when I'm out by myself.

I would think at 6'-3" you would be most comfortable on the Ultra Seat IMHO.
I am 5'-10", I have 3 seats, Stock SG for solo, Road King Classic seat for local with wife and Ultra for long distance.
Good luck!
Many dealers have H-D seats to demo. You can try those and see which is more like to SG seat for the driver side.
Another thought is you could always get the Hammock seat modified for the driver side to be like the SG seat and keep the passenger part as-is. Mean City Cycles gets real good reviews on seat mods. They have a list of seat mods on their site here
LePera Maverick sits me at the same height and position as my stock SG seat. Passenger comfort is superb, driver seat is stiff but supportive and comfortable.
