I put it in a vise with a scrap of leather to protect the finish, put a mark on it with a Sharpie where I wanted the bend, heated it with a propane torch until the Sharpie mark turned from black to brown and bent it using a leather glove.
Super simple.
@mikes300 it seems like you still have stock clutch lever ?
I want to install 2019 clutch shim, but with adjustable clutch lever Im afraid its going to bring friction zone way close to the grip and wont be able to shift. As of now I have to pull my clutch all the way & make sure clutch lever is touching my grip before I shift.
As such with Oberon clutch lever and mueller Im getting a veryyyy tiny bit of gear grind only if I **** at lower rpm (2500). If I shift close to 3k it shift better.
yes stock lever, no issues at all., its not near as close to the grip with the 2019 shim in the clutch, that shim and the rekluse and its perfect imo. I havea 2018 RGS
I've got the Rekluse clutch slave sitting in my shop waiting for me to dig the bike out and install. This thread is getting me a little excited to get it installed.
