Please give me your input on the Low Profile Touring seat and backrest made by Danny Gray for a Street Glide. How would it be on a 500-600 mile day? How is the seating position in relationship to the stock seat (the stock seat position is good for me whereas my Mustang touring 2-up seat pushes me up a little)? How is the passenger seat for a passenger on a 500-600 mile day? Anything to do with these questions as well as other comments would greatly be appreciated. I know I would be happy with a Corbin, but they are too expensive, even on Ebay and I have had a Sundowner but I am still looking for options such as the Danny Gray.

RE: Danny Gray Street Glide Seat
Ive owned nuttin but Corbins on my other bikes and couldn't imagine anything else for serious mile eaters. I wouldn't even consider the horrible lookin vinyl Mustangs. That said, I couldn't pass up on the price on this seat. Good quality REAL leather and firm not soft. I haven't seen any others out there in person either. It also matches my tour pak pattern purdy freakin close.
Definitely sits u further down (kinda scooped out)and maybe an inch or so back and narrows up front. Eliminates the "sittin on topfeel" and thickness or width towards the tank that the others don't. Main thing is it keeps the OL outta my ear...so it does what its supposed to do for my 2up seat.I'm 6'2 and it fits me perfectly w/o backrest.
DISCLAIMER: I haven't done a ton of miles on it.......yet
I bought a Corbin Dual Tour for my bike, can't stand it... sits me WAY too high.. funny thing is I love my Hollywood Solo... Do you guys have a part # for the seat you're talking about? I'm 6'2" also and would love to be down and a little further back..I searched the D. Gray site and Drag andcouldn't find a low profile touring seat.. I've sat on a Solo Big Seat and loved the feel... Thanks...
