I've had my 03 TC88 since new. Have been running D&D cutoffs, and the air cleaner has been the H/D Wing Air cleaner. My understanding is the air cleaner is SE. Also a RevTech DFO. This set up has/seems to have worked well since dealer installed new in 03. I just put on new rubber and bearings and am about to update the cam chest. Started out as chain tensioner inspection, seem at 31k that hand grenade had the pin pulled and just itchin to go off. So as we all know this turned in to (Well, while I'm in this deep). I guess with that upgrade all that might affect me is new cams. Red Shift 511's 510 lift, not huge difference, but more like an extra spoon of sugar please. Now every bit of input is sending me to the tuner store. As far as tuners, I know more about unclogging toilets! I have looked around a bit and find 250-999 plus. I'm not running a top fuel rig here just want to get my monies worth out of the so far upgrade investment and not hurt the engine. At this point the TTI Mastertune is looking pretty good no 02 sensors to worry with, low to mid 400 range price range. Any thoughts or input on this proposed set up will be appreciated.
Just had my 06 SG tuned with a canned Techno Research map. It had a piggyback on it and I just don't care for the in line tuner devices. Saw a noticeable improvement in throttle response and drivability. And when I go the same way you are, checked my tensioners and they are probably good for another 15k, I should get the tune updated for the cost of labor, since I already have the Techno Research license.

call the folks at fuel moto. they'll give you some solid advice without trying to upsell you to the most expensive of everything.
Hey Skratch, I replied to their Sticky Thread : Twin Cam 103 Cam shoot out thread a couple months ago actually I'm seem to be the last person to reply there. Guess they never check their threads or worse? Thought they might message me with some input, then start a discussion in the thread or call them. In their thread states they had dyno info going back 20 years. I'm not sure how that reflects to customer service, seems they would check their posts and as the need arose, contact a questioneer if there is a question that might lead to sales. A thread like that if continued and viewed by { All Ya'll } with a sale, follow up and good reviews for their product etc. Since they Sponsor here????? ,, well Who am I to say how this site works?
Just an observation? I will finish up with the work then see where I go form there, I may still ring-em up then?
they are busy folks. i wouldn't use a thread as a primary means of contacting them. i know people are having to schedule their big bore builds 6-8 months out.
I can attest first hand as to how busy they are in that place. They return calls, and will take care of you.
The owner does a great job of making time to show up here and help out a lot, but if you make an effort to call and leave a message, they will get you fixed up.
One thing you do not have to sweat with Fuel Moto is Customer Service.
