are there aftermarket bearings that anyone is buying or are you just getting them from the dealer? i just bought a set of front bearings for a Road glide with ABS and they were $76 CDN.

When I did the rear last weekend, I used an ABS bearing from Brocks and tried to get the non-ABS SKS bearings but couldn't get any. The part number is SKF 6205 2RSJEM if you guys want to try.

But now that I know that the HD bearings are ***, that's what I'll be using. They're good stuff.

I have a family member that works for Schaeffler at their mfg. facility in Joplin, MO. That used to be an *** bearing plant and they still use that name on some products. They forge their own steel and build from start to finish there. I'm told they also fab and ship components to other plants, so it's possible some of the HD bearing parts come from there. In any case, it's good to see manufacturing still operating in the U.S.

Last set of "All *****" I purchased were made in China. So they were truly my last set of All ***** bearings.

When I changed my wheel bearings the ABS bearing was the *** brand made in Korea, the others were the China made ones, anyway replaced all with World Wide Bearings.

what was the cost at HD for bearings? I found they were 2x the cost of other options (my experience)

Retail on the ABS bearing is $31.45 and the non-ABS is $24.25. I bought a Brocks ABS bearing and it was $59.95. The SKF is $24.90 if you can find it. So, your experience is far different from mine.

currently running All *****, a 4 pak for the rear (1 ABS, 3 non-ABS for wheel and pulley) was $44ish a year back - 08 Ultra

Front pair All ***** ABS was $28. At that rate will just order 2 sets of the rear kit in future and have a few spares. Though I do have a few spares already on hand.
