The HD branded wheel bearings are manufactured in South Korea, which leads me to believe they are the *** brand by Schaeffler Korea. Does anyone here know if this is true? If so, they are reputed to be of a very high quality matching other name brands such as SKF.
I have used *** bearings in the past on trucks, no issues.
While I have no idea if the make the HD bearings, I do know that 1 rear OEM bearing fail at 12K. Not burnt up yet, just noisy and a bit gritty.
I thought you went the SKF route last month?
I tried to get the SKF but after getting sent a different part number than what I ordered, and with little effort from local bearing suppliers I got frustrated and gave up. I did the rear last weekend including the sprocket then decided to do the front also. These are for the front, and I got curious about where they come from.
I guess all I had to do was open the package. The ABS bearing is marked, but the non-ABS bearing isn't. Since they both come from South Korea that's enough evidence for me.

A 9276A bearing I removed has F-573619 on it. I found this doing a Google search:
