Default 16 flhtp

I have a 2016 FLHTP (103) with 21,500 miles. I’m thinking on upgrading to a new 2022 Electra Glide (107) on a trade in. Anyone have experience with both bikes to help weigh pros/cons? I’m not interested in financial advice I’m just talking bike mechanics, enjoyment, etc.

If you are talking about an Electra Glide standard it will be muck like your 2016. The M8s power and torque will be noticed as well as continuous upgrades to the ABS and suspension. The EG standard does come with 12" shocks so that will be different.
I would highly recommend getting a bike with RDRS for the corner braking, hill hold and TPMS.

Correct the new police bikes are 114.

The M8 is going to be much smoother than you twin cam.

anyone have personal experience riding the difference between a 103 and 114? I’ve heard a range from not very noticeable to very noticeable…

Went from a 2013 103 into a 2019 114. The torque and roll on is much improved. Not earth shattering...improved.
