100%. HD adjustable for me. It's nice to be able to move it back occasionally out of the way, so I can stretch my back leaning back, then move it up to relax comfortably.
The HD one also folds forward onto the seat with a spring as you mount the bike, so it's just as easy to swing a leg over the bike as it is without the back rest.
Add another vote for the back rest. Just don't buy a cheap one. Get a good quality product with lots of reviews. The cheap ones will bend and not provide the support you need.
I have a seat that has lumbar support and usually don't need the backrest, but I have the option and use it on occasion. Would not buy a seat without a backrest ever again.
