He's probably referring to the number of turns for the adjustment. In the manual there is a chart that tells you how many turns you need from 0 depending on rider weight plus passenger and cargo.

Thank you I will dive into this manual first thing in the morning as I always try to read these things to familiarize myself with new toys.

I would imagine he's taking about PSI in an air suspension.

On my '22 RK I run about 18 (that's setting number, not pressure) and that stopped all the bottoming out I was experiencing. I found the ride was very much improved with the preload cranked up. Coming off a new Goldwing, the King's suspension feels agricultural, but it works fine and I don't feel any wallowing or other issues. I don't plan to upgrade the suspension anytime soon.

Mine is RKS so a bit shorter shock but I appreciate the comment.
