Nice ride. I’d like to hear in more detail about how it feels lighter. I thought they were the same frame yet the added weight of the fairing on the glide.
Allow me to be the first to congratulate you on a fine purchase! If I were to got to the dealer and buy a new bike, it would be exactly that, right down to the color.

I know they're the same frame and all that, that's why I'm saying it feels lighter, not that it is lighter. Looking at the HD spec sheets, the ST is 14 lbs heavier than the RKS and 15 lbs lighter than a standard SG. The bike feels more maneuverable and flickable than my RKS, both on the road and just moving it around in the driveway/garage. The suspension might have something to do with it too.

The shocks are slightly taller. When I swapped my shocks from stock to Ohlins, the bike instantly felt light and handled better. That's likely what you're feeling.

I had 13" Legends on my RKS, while the ST still has its stock 13" shocks. But yes, when I changed from stock to Legends on the RKS, instant improvement.

Congratulations on your new bike.
Also Interesting. I was thinking of downsizing to Roadking when I didn't feel like riding street glide anymore. Always thought Roadking to be lighter than Street Glide.
