You spent a lot of time in the Performance Baggers thread. Are you headed the same direction with this one? Also curious, you keeping apes on it or going T bars? Opinion on either choice is welcome.
As soon as I get my build done I'll be updating that thread. Hopefully inside the week.

I'll be sticking with the ape style bars, IMO TBars don't look right on a bagger. I will be changing them out, just don't know what I want yet. Just a little bit taller, maybe a couple inches and a different wrist angle.
So far my plans will be a better speaker setup, Legends front/back though the factory setup is surprisingly good, and we'll see how frisky I get with a possible big bore kit.
Also Interesting. I was thinking of downsizing to Roadking when I didn't feel like riding street glide anymore. Always thought Roadking to be lighter than Street Glide.
I know the RK is lighter than the SG, to me whatever wizardry is going on, it just feels lighter. Can't really explain it.

I'm going Performance Bagger, but 12s are where I lay down that line. I like the apes. I'm all in on a new set that's being coated the same color as my wheels and Trask derby. I think T bar look good on the RG and RK, but not the SG. Anyway, love the bike and I can't wait to see what you do to it.
A big bore kit, really? A cammed 114 can outrun a stock 117. I'd be interested to see the numbers put down by a big bore on a 117. I considered a 131 swap and got scared after seeing what that engine can do.

No doubt, the TQ cammed 114 in that RKS I traded in would spank this stock 117. Might go for the Power Cam in this 117 since the warranty is still a factor, but that M8-W22XE cam I had bought for the Road King is just sitting on the shelf begging to be used. Decisions decisions.

I'm just throwing this out, but thats the exact cam that Fuel Moto said to use and im in the market for one. I'm out of warranty and have a FM tune in my PV for both my bikes.

I had the cam, bearing with installation tool, gasket kit, and had just ordered Fueling lifters when I make the mistake of test riding the ST on a whim. I'm open to offers on any of that besides the lifters.
