Lots of guys will tell you the upgraded aftermarket stuff is the bomb etc. etc. Not saying they are not, just saying the OEM stuff lasted a long time, I did not expect to be putting another 60k miles on this bike so I kept it simple.
I pulled the swing arm myself and gave it to my local Indy to remove and press in new bearings.
Getting it back in was a bear, but nothing is easy. Huge improvement when completed.

I did the same thing , indy put the bearings in for me , wouldn't go in at all . I ended up putting the swing arm into the bench vise and gently pressing the bearing in until I could get the swing arm to slide up into the transmission , then ran the rod through , after that it was easy . Just make sure you have your rubber bushings aligned correctly on each side .
